Lara Logan

 Lara Logan, born 29/03/71 was an South African television journalist and war reporter. She was an CBS News reporter from 2002 until 2018.60 Minutes executive producers Jeff Fager and Lara Logan said that her inaccurate and politically biased report on the 2012 Benghazi attacks "the most glaring error of my 10-year watching." She was a part of the Sinclair Broadcast Group in 2019 which is a conservative media corporation. In January 2020 she joined Fox Nation, a subscription streaming service run by Fox News. In March 2022, she said she was "dumped" by the network. Logan worked as an assistant news reporter at Durban's Sunday Tribune (1988-1989) and the Daily News (1990-1992). In 1992, she became an executive producer at Reuters Television Africa. After four years, she ventured into freelance journalism, obtaining assignments as a reporter, editor/producer at ITN and Fox/SKY, CBS News, ABC News (in London), NBC, and the European Broadcasting Union. She worked for CNN and reported on events such as the 1998 United States embassy bombings in Nairobi and Tanzania, the conflict in Northern Ireland, and the Kosovo conflict.
